The Luxury Sneaker Renting App
Prior to Kanye West releasing his 2018 album, “Ye,” he leaked on his social media that his next album would be titled “Love Everyone.” I took inspiration from this, slightly changing the wording to "Love Everybody," and imagined a look for Kanye West’s Love Everybody tour, with deliverables including promotional materials for the concerts, as well as collateral and merchandise at the different venues. This tour would be marketed throughout the United States.
Having none of the actual tracks of this album released at the time, I approached the concept and direction of the designs typographically, with the word mark I created for “Love Everybody.” The overall feel throughout the materials was to bring out the boldness and grittiness his lyrics and beats have always had, as well as include the street culture vibe his music celebrates.
The designs were intended to be simple and clean in the use of typography and the composition on the page, while at the same time be striking and outspoken with strong bold colors. I created a color system for the different cities he would be performing in, coordinating the solid colors of the venue posters with the merchandise t-shirts, creating the same sense of exclusivity and street personality for each city that Kanye West often does with his music and brand.
